Blue Lands
Blue Lands _ Seoul design award 2023
In the Blue Lands Exhibition, presents a captivating exploration of the effects of rising sea levels on vulnerable coastal regions.
Changes in sea level modify coastal flood risk weather changes. The sum of the individual components is typically within 0.3 mm/year of the observed sea level rise which has averaged a little over 3.0 mm/year since the early 1990s.
By combining HoEun Lee (Yuna) and Guo Yu (Mei Mei)'s immersive virtual technology and information experience throughout the virtual reality exhibition, visitors can emotionally and physically engage with sea level data, understand coastal flood risk, and explore the stories of affected islands and countries for inspiring people to have possible sustainable solutions.
